Darshan at Pashupatinath and Budhanilkantha, document check and preparation.

Afternoon flight to Nepalgunj in western Nepal.
Overnight stay in Simikot
Mountain flight to Simikot (2,950 m) for acclimatisation.
Overnight stay in Purang
Helicopter to Hilsa, cross the border and drive to Purang (Taklakot).
Overnight stay in Purang
Rest day and short walks for acclimatisation.
Overnight stay at Mansarovar
Drive to holy Lake Mansarovar – parikrama by vehicle and holy dip.
Overnight stay in Darchen
Puja at the lake and drive to Darchen, the base of Mount Kailash.
Overnight stay at Dirapuk
Begin the sacred kora from Yam Dwar to Dirapuk with views of the north face.
Overnight stay at Zuthulpuk
Cross the Dolma La pass (5,630 m) – the most sacred day of the yatra.
Overnight stay in Purang
Complete the kora and drive back to Purang.
Tour Ends
Fly back via Simikot and Nepalgunj to Kathmandu for your onward journey.
October to December and March to May are ideal, though most of our Nepal tours run all year round.
You should be able to walk 5-7 hours a day at altitude. We recommend regular walks or light cardio for 6-8 weeks before the trip.
