Rajan Shrestha

I was born inside the old city of Patan, between temples that are older than most countries. After studying history I began guiding visitors through the seven UNESCO sites of the Kathmandu valley – and I still discover a new carving, a hidden shrine or a forgotten legend every season.

My walks move at your pace: early mornings at Boudhanath with the pilgrims, lunch in a Newari family kitchen, and sunset over the rooftops of Bhaktapur. Bring your questions – the more, the better.
