11 Days / 10 Nights The Sacred Yatra of the Himalaya
Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath
- the four holy abodes of Uttarakhand.
The Char Dham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Hinduism - a journey to four Himalayan shrines in the Garhwal hills of Uttarakhand. Yamunotri is the source of the Yamuna and the abode of Goddess Yamuna, Gangotri is where the Ganga descends from the glaciers, Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and Badrinath is the holy seat of Lord Vishnu. The yatra traditionally runs from west to east, starting at Haridwar and Rishikesh, and the temples are open from late April / May until around Diwali. We run the full yatra from Haridwar and from Gorakhpur, Do Dham yatras to Kedarnath and Badrinath and helicopter yatras, with hotels, transfers and help with the registration.

The temples open around Akshaya Tritiya (April / May) and close around Diwali (October / November). May - June and September - October are the best months, with pleasant days and open roads. The July - August monsoon brings landslides and road closures, and May - June is the busiest season, so book hotels and helicopter tickets early. Registration with the Uttarakhand government is compulsory for every pilgrim - we help you with it.
